PROBES
ConTACtor Series Fixed Pattern Probes
Probe Tip	MRSI offers a full range of probe tip material and sizes. The probe tip material most frequently selected is long lasting tungsten. Beryllium Copper (BeCu) probe tips offer excellent contact resistance properties and less overdrive is required for good repeatable contact. They should be selected when probing gold pads and for high speed, power and laser trim applications.
Probe Assembly	MRSI conTACtor series probes can be configured with a variety of probe tips for IC and hybrid applications. Probes include a precise screw adjustment mechanism that allows the user to accurately planarize probe tips. This feature removes the "guesswork" and possibility of damage associated with "bending" or "lapping" after installation.
LP ConTACtor Series "144" and "244" Probes
Probe Assembly Profiles	Probe cards fabricated with MRSI's low profile LP Series probes can be used interchangeably with epoxy ring or blade cards. The probes can be configured at standard working distances of .144 inch and .244 inch.
Kelvin ConTACtor Probe Assembly
Kelvin ConTACtor Probe Assembly	Kelvin probes are dual conductor probes. The tip, which is soldered to the ceramic-isolating block, is used as the sense contact (normally a high impedance line.) The probe body contact is used for the force line. The narrow profile over/under probe tips simplifies Kelvin probing of internal nodes without obscuring resistors. Probe tips can be configured fore and aft or side by side. Tip to tip separation spacing is 0.005" nominal.
Dual Beam Probe
Dual Beam ConTACtor Probe Assembly	Dual Beam probes are single conductor probes with two tips (one sleeve) mounted to each probe body on the lower surface of the arm. The tips are parallel, mounted side by side.

MRSI flex Series Bendable Body Probes Hybrid Laser-Trim Probe
Hybrid Laser-Trim Probe	MRSI flex Series fixed position probes are a variation on MRSI's ConTACtor Series probes. The arm of the probe that is soldered to the probe card has been tempered so that it can be bent. Now, the unsurpassed x, y-axis stability offered by ConTACtor z-adjustable probes is obtainable in a flexible, more easily adaptable form. Single-pass card assemblies can now be made where multiple-pass cards were required in the past.
EDGE SENSORS
Edge Sensors	Edge sensors are used to calibrate the probe planarization depth of card assemblies. They also enable automatic prober turnaround and overtravel control. MRSI z-adjustable screw mechanism is considered to be the superior choice for accurate planarization.
PROBE CARDS
Probe Card	MRSI's probe cards are designed to provide rigid support for optimal planarization of the card assembly. The size and shape of metalization patterns, apertures and support stiffeners are balanced for maximum reliability and repeatability of measurement.
