MRSI Introduces New Linear Positive Displacement Pump
MRSI announced that it now offers a new
Dual Chamber Linear Positive Displacement Dispense Pump in the Encore
Dual Lane Encapsulation System. The precision pump provides control
to better than 1%, for even the highest viscosity fluids. What's
more the pump's unique independently operated dual chamber
design allows continuous dispense.
According to MRSI Vice President of Sales, Dan Crowley,
"Conventional positive displacement pumps used today, such as
Archimedean valve, provide excellent performance for certain
applications such as silver epoxy, but may not be the best choice for
high accuracy, high throughput applications. MRSI's new Dual
Chamber Linear Positive Displacement Dispense Pump addresses all the
issues that are bottlenecks in today's demanding high volume
production environment."
Positive displacement is achieved with closed loop feedback and a
tightly toleranced, hardened piston and sleeve combination. The
feedback loop is closed using high resolution linear encoders mounted
on each piston.
Built in cartridge heaters with thermocouple feedback transfer heat
to the pump sleeve. Parts are easily removed for cleaning and
reinstalled without requiring any tools. A wide range of pistons,
sleeves and valves are available to accommodate all types and volumes
of fluids. MRSI's experienced Applications Engineering staff can
help specify the correct pump and parameters to match any dispense application.
