Neil Srivastava, MRSI Group President and CEO, has been named a finalist in the 15th annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program in San Diego, California. This award, founded and produced by Ernst & Young, honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work, and perseverance have created and sustained successful business ventures. The award was announced and presented at a regional awards banquet in June.

Neil Srivatava was honored to be named an award finalist for the second consecutive year in the "Technology Products" category. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he recognized the need for miniaturization of electronic products, the trend towards shrinking product life cycles and the need to minimize labor costs to keep manufacturing jobs in the US. In 1984 he founded Micro Robotics Systems, Inc. (MRSI) with the goal of providing flexible, automated solutions for microassembly and inspection. Since then, MRSI has established itself as an industry leader for innovative, high-precision and modular dispensing and assembly systems for the advanced packaging industry.
