MRSI was founded in 1984 with the goal of providing automated solutions for micro assembly and inspection. MRSI shipped the world's first fully automatic vision guided die attach system in 1986.
The company provided automated assembly solutions to the hybrid microelectronics industry for the next decade. MRSI then introduced the next generation of ultra-precision assembly and dispense systems to meet the increasing challenges of advancing package technologies. This quickly established MRSI as the industry's leading provider of systems for innovative high-precision dispensing, assembly, and turn-key integrated production.
Today MRSI is considered to be the standard of the industry for systems to manufacture microwave modules, optical modules, RF modules and multi-chip modules. Interconnect technologies include epoxy die attach, flip chip, and eutectic bonding.
